The manufacturer has already started accepting pre-orders for its first flip phone. The company also reported that the process of delivering the new device to customers will begin on Tuesday, July 23.

The new phone of one of the largest smartphone manufacturers from China is equipped with a somewhat original feature such as the ability to instantly print photos using a portable printer. It is worth noting that the portable printer is sold separately for 499 yuan. In this case, the buyers will also be provided with photo paper.

Besides, Xiaomi presented the latest version of its folding phone Mix Fold 4. The cost of this device is 8,999 yuan. It is worth noting that the previous version of the flip phone was sold at the same price.

During the presentation, Xiaomi founder Lei Jun explained how Mix Fold 4 handles simultaneous translation into one language on each side of the screen. At the same time, he did not focus on the possibilities of artificial intelligence.

Lei Jun also spoke about other areas of the company’s activities. According to him, the total supply of the SU7 electric sedan, presented by Xiaomi in March, has exceeded 30,000 vehicles as of today. It is expected that the corresponding figure will increase to 100,000 by November. The media, referring to a certain Xiaomi employee, reported that last month at the company’s plant located in the southern part of Beijing, work shifts were doubled to 16 hours a day to meet consumer demand for an electric sedan on a growth trajectory. The mentioned factory employs about 2,000 people and about 700 robots.
