The prices of the products customers subscribe to remain unchanged throughout the subscription period
Carrefour has launched a new subscription service to get everyday products delivered via its website.
According to the press release, customers choose the products they want to have delivered to their home on a regular basis, and then decide on the frequency based on their supply needs.
The service is available throughout mainland France and is free for purchases of €50 and over. Customers get a 5% discount on their products throughout the subscription period.
Customers are free to change their delivery address, and they can suspend or stop their subscription whenever they feel like it by visiting their customer area.
Initially, around 400 everyday products will be available for subscription (washing-up liquid, nappies, dog and cat food, coffee, beauty products, ink cartridges, etc.). They will also be able to subscribe to certain items of clothing and have them delivered either monthly, every two months or every three months.
The idea is to make their everyday lives easier, providing them with a service to fit in with their purchase habits. The service will be expanded in early 2022 with a number of new products. It will help speed up the deployment of e-commerce at Carrefour.
