Brazilian neobank Nubank has announced the acquisition of local digital investment platform Easynvest.
For now, nothing changes for Nubank and Easynvest clients and they will continue to operate normally and independently. For instance, service channels, services, and apps remain available as usual.
The purchase will still be approved by the Central Bank of Brazil and CADE (Brazilian Competition Authority).
Following this stage, Nubank and Easynvest will start working on the next steps in this partnership.
We’ve reported that Nubank has acquired US software provider Cognitect which is the bank’s first acquisition outside of Brazil.
