Eftsure, a company that helps businesses check payments are going to the right place, has bought Relish, a US AI-powered firm that checks and cleans up vendor data and automates invoice processing.

The deal was announced on 3 September, 2026, and brings the two companies’ technologies together under one roof, within a platform that handles US$288 billion in payments annually.
“Bringing together payment integrity leaders across Asia-Pacific, Europe and North America creates something the market hasn’t had before: a truly global payment assurance platform. As finance becomes more autonomous, faster workflows aren’t enough. Enterprises need trusted data and independent verification behind every payment. This combination brings those controls together at global scale.”
Jon Soldan, Chief Executive Officer of Eftsure
When large companies make payments to suppliers, contractors or employees, there is a risk that payment information may be incorrect, outdated, or even fraudulent. Criminals impersonate legitimate vendors in an attempt to persuade finance teams to send payments to the wrong bank account. This type of scam is often called business email compromise and invoice fraud. The purpose of Eftsure is to independently confirm the identity of recipients and their bank details before payments are made, serving as a safeguard that operates independently from an organization’s standard accounting system.
The acquired firm, Relish works a step earlier in that same process. Its Data Assure technology validates and enriches vendor information using government and other third-party databases, while its Invoice AI technology automates the review of incoming invoices to catch errors or fraud before they turn into a payment problem.
“Relish was built to close the data and workflow gaps that expose enterprises to financial risk. Joining Eftsure connects that intelligence with independent payment verification, giving finance teams greater confidence from vendor onboarding and invoice processing through to the moment money moves.”
Ryan Walicki, Chief Executive Officer of Relish
By combining these two capabilities, the newly merged company says it can offer a more complete “payment assurance” service, covering everything from onboarding a new supplier to the final moment a payment leaves a company’s account.
The scale of the combined business is even more significant if we take into account Sis ID, a French payment-control company Eftsure acquired in 2025. Altogether, the group now serves more than 4,000 corporate customers and employs over 600 people across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific. Eftsure says its global annual recurring revenue grew 45% over the past year. The combined platform monitors 11 million vendors across 190 countries and territories, protects more than US$288 billion in payments annually, and can verify bank accounts covering roughly 85% of the world’s banked population.
The technology is designed to plug into the software companies already use to manage money, including SAP, Coupa, Workday, ServiceNow, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Oracle NetSuite, so finance teams don’t need to overhaul their existing systems to use it.
