Insiders who informed the media about the partnership on the rights of anonymity claim that the partnership program provides for the cooperation of the American chip manufacturer with Tata Motors, Tata Consultancy Services, and Tata Communications. The interlocutors of the journalists asked not to name their names, saying that this topic is not yet subject to public disclosure. According to them, the official announcement of the beginning of partnerships in the artificial intelligence industry may be made public before the end of this week.
A representative of the Tata Group declined to provide any comments on possible cooperation with the American chip manufacturer.
The beginning of the partnership between Nvidia and Reliance was officially announced on Friday, September 8. The companies stated their intention to jointly create an artificial intelligence infrastructure in India. A large language model will also be developed within the framework of this partnership. The companies will deploy an artificial intelligence infrastructure with a planned capacity of 2000 MW, which will create a telecommunications division of Reliance Reliance Jio Infocomm.
