The robot will deliver non-food goods across the Dutch university
The Future Mobility Network has started a pilot project with an electric and autonomous driving delivery robot, Ecommerce News report.
The robot will drive around at the Breda University of Applied Sciences and deliver non-food goods.
In addition, the students will investigate the robot’s impacts, including its performance and user-friendliness. Besides, they will pay attention to the behavior of the people around the robot.
As to the robots’ additional advantages, they are available 24/7. What is more, they’re electric, therefore sustainable, and take over certain activities in a different way.
We’ve reported that LG Electronics has teamed up with the online food delivery app Woowa Brothers and the Korea Institute for Robot Industry Advancement to develop robot waiters.
