A new three-year agreement will bring Tieto Indtech’s Multichannel services to Bank Norwegian operations across six European markets, enhancing secure digital invoicing and integrated payment communication.

Bank Norwegian has expanded its long-standing collaboration with Tieto Indtech through a strategic three-year agreement to enhance digital invoicing, payment integration, and customer communication across Europe. Under the new partnership, Tieto Indtech will deliver its Multichannel services in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Germany and Spain, enabling consistent, secure and region-specific communication for Bank Norwegian’s growing customer base.
The agreement strengthens Bank Norwegian’s position as one of the Nordic region’s leading providers of secure digital financial services. By integrating Tieto’s Multichannel capabilities, the bank gains a unified, modern invoicing infrastructure adapted to diverse regulatory environments, local payment methods and digital mailboxes, ensuring smoother cross-border operations and improved customer experience.
“This agreement represents an important step forward in our partnership with Bank Norwegian. As a trusted partner, we are proud to enforce their digital strategy with scalable, modern solutions that adapt to local market needs. Our Multichannel service ensures secure and efficient handling of customer communications and invoicing tailored to each region,” says Johan Enger Nygaard, Managing Director, Tieto Indtech.
Tieto Indtech’s Multichannel platform supports both digital and physical document distribution and is designed to integrate seamlessly with national payment systems and country-specific communication channels. The approach improves flexibility, reduces operational complexity and supports Bank Norwegian’s priorities around cost-efficient, high-quality customer communication.
“Tieto has been a trusted partner for many years. This new agreement enables us to deliver tailored secure and high-quality customer communication across all our markets in a cost-efficient way”, says Andreas S. Pedersen, Branch Head of Tech, Projects and Product Development, Bank Norwegian.
As we have earlier reported, Tietoevry has officially unveiled a major strategic shift: the company is renewing its brand and returning to the simplified name Tieto as it enters its next chapter of growth.
